Maddie Martin is a marketing strategist and professional artist based in Carbondale, CO. She currently serves as Senior Social Media Strategist at Backbone Media, where she leads social media and influencer strategies for outdoor and active lifestyle brands. Over the past six years, she has held brand marketing roles, building a career translating brand identity into compelling content and marketing strategies.
Maddie holds a B.A. from Columbia University. She studied classical oil painting at the Aegean Center for Fine Arts in Paros, Greece on a merit scholarship. Before enrolling at Columbia, she trained in contemporary art at The Oxbow School in Napa Valley, CA, later returning as the school's youngest teacher in residence. Her paintings explore the relationship between color and feeling with a focus on patterns found in nature.
Maddie moved to Carbondale for its vibrant arts community and quickly found a home in the town's close-knit community. In 2022, she exhibited her paintings at Mountain Fair in the Local's Booth. When she's not in the studio, she's usually outside—skiing, trail running, or uphilling.
